What is the average cost for a wedding at Carmel Valley Ranch?
Prices vary depending on a number of factors, but events generally start from $80 per person, plus a site fee.
Is there an in-house party planner for weddings?
We offer a full team of onsite wedding professionals, who will help you plan every aspect of your special day. Your designated event specialist will also help you coordinate with our preferred vendors for any necessary outside services. We strongly recommend having a ‘day of’ wedding coordinator and will gladly provide you with a list of preferred specialists.
What is the resort's maximum capacity?
With over 4,200 square feet of event space, Carmel Valley Ranch can accommodate up to 500 guests.
What is the maximum capacity of the ballroom?
Our elegant ballroom can comfortably accommodate up to 260 guests with reception-style seating. All of our indoor reception venues are graced by expansive outdoor terraces, offering additional event space.
What is your Reception Site Fee?
Our Reception Site Fee starts at $5,000.
Does the resort charge a Ceremony Fee?
Ceremony fees vary depending on the nature of the event. Please contact our wedding specialist for further information.
Can we book a ceremony only, and not a reception at the resort?
Yes, Carmel Valley Ranch welcomes all couples. Ceremonies may take place between 12 noon and 4pm.
Does the resort have ceremony capability?
We offer several intimate indoor and outdoor venues that are ideal for ceremonies. Favorite locations include our beautifully landscaped Wedding Garden and our upcoming Vineyard Lawn and Signature Ballroom.
Can ceremonies be held outdoors?
Many couples choose to take advantage of the area's natural beauty by holding their ceremonies outdoors. We offer several exquisite outdoor venues, including the lush Wedding Garden, the breathtaking Vineyard Lawn, our sweeping Arbor Terrace, conveniently adjoining the Arbor Ballroom, and 19th green adjacent to the Clubhouse, with stunning views of 18th fairway.
What if we plan an outdoor ceremony and it rains?
Our wedding specialists will happily create an alternative for outdoor weddings, and we will work with you to prepare an appropriate contingency plan. Since relocation depends on the day's schedule, the number of guests and other factors, the alternate venue will not be made available until the day of the event.
Do you suggest photographers, florists and other vendors?
Our list of preferred vendors is made available to all wedding parties. Each vendor we recommend is known for their high standards and excellent service, ensuring your event will be truly exquisite.
Do you allow outside catering?
All catering is provided by the Carmel Valley Ranch culinary team. Our staff will ensure your event provides an unforgettable gourmet experience.
Can we bring our own wine and champagne?
Carmel Valley Ranch provides all food and beverages served at weddings. Our extensive wine list includes fine French and California labels, as well as top-rated champagnes. If you prefer a brand that is not on our list, we will be happy to order it for you.
What is the average cost of a cocktail reception?
The cost of cocktail receptions varies greatly depending on length and choice of food and beverage. However, prices generally start at $40 per person.
What is the average cost of a full reception dinner?
A full, multi-course reception dinner typically starts from $80 per person.
How much does wine with dinner generally cost?
Depending on the vintage served, serving wine with dinner costs an average of $35 per person.
Does the resort offer valet parking?
For the convenience of your guests, Carmel Valley Ranch offers valet parking. Pricing may vary depending on the size of your wedding.
Are Bridal Suites available for the wedding party?
Our spacious, elegantly-appointed suites are ideal for the bride and her attendants. We offer several different styles of accommodations, ensuring your guests will have all the space they desire.
Can we reserve a block of guest rooms for our guests?
If you anticipate your party will need 10 or more overnight guest rooms, it is our pleasure to reserve accommodations and extend a special rate for your guests. Our Sales department will be happy to assist you with all necessary coordination. Carmel Valley Ranch offers six different styles of spacious suites for your guests, all of which are equipped with luxurious amenities including fireplaces, private decks, oversized bathrooms, and high-speed wireless Internet access.
